Grunge is Back In Town

Alternative rock subculture Grunge is paying us another visit. As a trend that emerged in the mid-80s and lasted until the mid-90s, later becoming the heroin chic phenomena, is a trend fronted by the likes of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. We all know the look: unbrushed hair, ripped tights and phenomenally cool.

Both a music style as well as a fashion style we here at Dolls and Pop are interested in the fashion - of course we are. So all those grunge kids who thought they'd missed their hey-day of the 90s it's tim eto come out and play, rub your heavily eye-lined eyes, smudge your lipstick and rip your tight it's time for your weird selves to shine, your sultry pouts to pucker up and your ripped tights to hail no more abuse. They're meant to be like that, duh!

So we’ve put together a want list to satisfy some, not all, of our Grunge needs.

From Left to Right:
Cigarette Dye Trousers / Topshop
Check Blazer / Topshop
Boy in Mask Print Tee by JW Anderson / Topshop
Knit Jumper / Topshop
Rainbow knit jumper / Topshop
Rainbow Hologram Tee-Shirt / ASOS
Outfit / Ashish

It seems from this list, that I would like a lot of things from Topshop.
Going to have to learn to shop around more, sorry.
